For the short film Kindled, I meticulously designed an immersive audio experience to capture the emotions of Fire Girl and Acorn Boy. Using a planned circumplex model of emotion, I integrated subtle sound effects and crafted a score to complement their journey. The flute symbolised Fire Girl's delicate nature, contrasting with the French horn's gentle yet determined feeling for Acorn Boy. These instruments engaged in responsive dialogue, supported by grand piano and strings. Dynamic shifts and expressive foley sounds ensured the sound design enhanced the film's emotional depth and narrative impact.
