I created earcons for a cooking app, incorporating a variety of percussive kitchen sounds to capture the lively and familiar atmosphere of a kitchen. The aim was to design audio cues that are engaging, rhythmic, and reflective of the cooking environment. By using sounds like bottle openings, sizzling, and chopping, I ensured the earcons were both functional and enjoyable. The overall goal was to make the app’s sounds familiar, exciting, and reflective of the kitchen environment, enhancing the user experience.
